A few days ago we were at the CannaFriends fair in Ilsede, Germany.

To be honest, we thought it would be something small, more local, not too busy. One hall, a couple of stands, a calm vibe… but no.

It was the complete opposite. And what a joy to be wrong.

From the very beginning, the atmosphere felt great. Yes, there was only one hall, but it was nicely
set up, well organized, and not overwhelming. We were in a corner, which usually feels like the
forgotten spot… but not this time. From the moment we opened our stand, we didn’t stop for a
second. People coming over, asking questions, checking out the catalog, chatting. It was non-stop,
and we loved it.

The best part? The people. Honestly, it was such a pleasure to meet so many lovely folks. Friendly,
curious, eager to share experiences—some very experienced, others just starting out and keen to
learn and listen. Some already knew us, others discovered us there, but everyone brought good
vibes. At times, it felt like our stand had become a meeting point for the whole fair. And we were
more than happy with that.

We brought seeds and products from Exotic Seed, plus t-shirts, hoodies, promotional seeds to give
away, custom rolling papers, and some cool little plant tags. We shared the stand with Sweet Seeds,
lifelong friends from Spain. People came by not just for the products, but for the good energy in our
corner. And that’s what really matters.

One thing that really stood out was how many people showed up. Ilsede is a small town, and we
thought the fair would be quiet, with low attendance. But nope. From day one, the place was
packed. Constant movement, and not just locals—people came from other cities too, which
surprised us. You could feel the excitement for the fair, for cannabis, for community.

That said, not everything went smoothly from the start. When we arrived to set up, the organizers
couldn’t find our pallet with the merchandise. Imagine the panic. We were standing there like,
“Now what?”, while they searched everywhere. Luckily, they sorted it out quickly and everything
arrived on time, but that little scare won’t be forgotten anytime soon.

The fair was clearly designed for the general public, and you could tell. No pretentiousness or
technical jargon. CBD, cosmetics, seeds, vaporizers, associations, workshops, cannabis honey and
all kinds of products… there was a bit of everything, and it was all easy to access. Even the talks
were relaxed and straightforward. You could learn, ask questions, debate—if you speak German, of
course.

There was also live music on a stage, chill-out areas, and food trucks… all well set up. The food
options were a bit limited though—we would’ve loved one or two more trucks. The vibe was
relaxed but full of energy. People were clearly enjoying themselves, and that feeling spread. We left
with the sense that we’d been part of something special.

We’re taking home an amazing experience from CannaFriends. Not just for what we sold or the
contacts we made, but for what we felt. This fair reminded us why we do what we do. Because
behind every product, every brand, there are people. And when those people come together, good
things happen.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our stand. To the organizers, who did a great job. To the fellow
exhibitors, who shared ideas, laughs and good moments. And above all, thanks to the people who
came with curiosity, questions, and a desire to connect.

We’ll be back. No doubt about it.
